Engine -

Volvo B2xx adjustable camshaft gear

Adjustable camshaft gear to suit 8v B2xx engines, including turbo models. (Volvo 240, 360, 740 and 940)
Allows camshaft timing changes in small increments by simply adjusting the four bolts on the front of the gear.
Ideal for fine tuning after a camshaft change and to move peak torque to a lower or higher point within the rev range.

As camshaft gears are not stocked items, please allow a reasonable time frame for delivery.

Volvo 240 B230F rear camshaft seal plate

B230F engines in 1986 - 1993 240s feature a large rubber bung seated in a recess in the back of the head, up against the firewall.
This bung can fail or be blown out due to PCV or other issues.

Our camshaft seal plate prevents the bung from being forced out of the recess potentially preventing massive oil leaks and engine failure.

Camshaft seal plate is made from laser cut, coated, mild steel and comes complete with appropriate fasteners.

Suspension -

Volvo 240 front Coilover kit

Our front coilover kits offer an almost infinitely adjustable ride height as well as the advantage of easily-available motorsports springs making fine tuning simple.

Later style, large spindle strut tubes with reinforced seams, fitted with threaded sleeves and welded on stop-ring.
Kits come complete with Nickel-coated Strut tubes, sleeves, lower spring perch, a pair of springs of your chosen spring rate, and upper spring hat.

Simply add your own shock absorber inserts and fit.
Spring rates are available from 200lbs to 525lbs.

Helper springs are available at additional cost upon request

We can recommend a suitable spring rate for your application.

King Performance Springs for Volvo 240

King Springs performance spring sets are an ideal handling upgrade for Volvo 240 sedans and wagons.
Springs offer lowering of approx 30mm from standard ride height and the car will take on a more aggressive stance.
Ride is noticably firmer with a more sporty feeling and less body roll while still retaining good ride quality.

King Springs are Australian made and come in a high-quality yellow powdercoated finish.

Volvo 240 Strut tube to lower control arm spacers

Designed to be used with a spacer for steering rack ends, strut tube to lower control arm spacers correct the suspension geometry issues caused as a result of lowered ride height.

When lowered, the lower control arms on a Volvo 240 are no longer at an optimum angle, and as such tyre wear issues can become a problem. Bump-steer can become an issue as the wheel moves through a range of travel, particularly in a motorsports application.

Includes appropriate fasteners.

Volvo 240 rack end spacers

Specifically designed to be used with the strut tube to lower control arm spacers (listed above), DVS rack end spacers are used for bumpsteer correction on significantly lowered 240 series cars.

Fitting requires drilling of the hole in the steering knuckle and tie rods to be replaced with heim joints (rod ends).

Kit includes spacers, appropriate fasteners, fitting details and rod end specifications.

Volvo 2xx Adjustable panhard bar - Type 1 (with rod ends)

Often, 240s with lowered suspension have a problem with the left rear tyre fouling on the inside of the wheel arch at various stages of wheel travel - reversing out of driveways, long sweeping corners, etc

The reason for this is that when lowered springs are installed, the fixed-length standard panhard bar pulls the body across to the left.
Adjusting the length of the panhard bar compensates for this.

We offer an adjustable panhard bar which is solid-mounted and features adjustable rod ends.

This design also eliminates rubber bushes as you would find on a standard panhard bar and gives a more positive cornering reaction by eliminating sidways movement of the rear end under cornering loads.
Ideal for motorsports use or for those who enjoy more sports oriented driving.

Volvo 2xx Adjustable panhard bar - Type 2 (on-bar adjustable with bushes)

As with our original adjustable panhard bar design above, this adjustable panhard bar is designed to correct the location of the rear axle in relation to the body after lowered springs have been fitted.

When lowered springs are installed, the fixed-length standard panhard bar pulls the body across to the left.
Adjusting the length of the panhard bar compensates for this.

Unlike the adjustable panhard bar above, the length of the bar is adjusted at one end of the bar itself rather than adjusting the rod ends.
This panhard bar uses urethane bushes for a compliant ride.
Urethane bushes can be fitted at additional cost upon request.

Volvo 2xx Adjustable front swaybar end-link kits

DVS adjustable front sway bar end link kits are suitable for 240 and 260 series Volvos.

Includes adjustable rod ends and height-adjustable threaded rod, appropriate spacers, urethane bushes and high-tensile fasteners.

They are ideal for lowered Volvos, enabling the sway bar to be set at optimum angle after installing lowered springs. They allow fine-tuning of front-end stiffness and are easily adjustable.

Volvo 2xx Urethane front swaybar end-link bushes

Our urethane front swaybar endlink bushes are suitable for all 240 and 260 series Volvos.
Bushes come in a set of four, and replace the standard rubber bushes and are an ideal addition to 240 or 260 series volvos with lowered springs fitted, providing an improvement in handling and front end feel.

These bushes are also supplied on our Adjustable front swaybar end link kits.

Strut tower and Chassis braces -

Volvo 240 Strut tower to tower brace

DVS Strut tower to strut tower brace sets are made from the highest quality materials and will fit all B21/B23/B230 powered 240 series Volvos.

The kit includes 5mm steel top plates, motorsport quality adjustable rod ends, 25mm OD chrome-moly cross bar and high-tensile fasteners.

Volvo 2xx Lower chassis braces

DVS lower chassis braces, are similar in design to the factory-fitted braces on some 260 series models.
Our lower braces can be fitted to any 240 or 260 series Volvo, although they do require the drilling of some holes. Lower chassis braces are made from 25mm OD chrome-moly tube and come, ready to fit, with instructions and high-tensile fasteners.

Sumpguards -

Volvo 240 aluminium checkerplate sumpguards

DVS aluminium checker-plate replacement sumpguards bolt up in place of the original plastic belly pans that are prone to breaking or cracking after years of use on the roads.
These sump guards were designed with this in mind, as well as those who use their 240s a little more aggressively or in competition.

The sump guards bolt up using the original holes and mounting hardware from the original belly pan.
They are made from 2mm thickness (4mm high ridges) aluminium checker-plate, suitable for 4 cylinder models only.

Body -

Volvo 240 Group A rear spoilers

The Group A replica rear spoilers we sell are made in Australia.
They are of high quality, made from fibreglass, come with all required fasteners and require painting before fitting.
They will fit all 1978 - 1985 240 & 260 series Volvos.

Brakes -

Performance brake pads and rotors

We offer performance brake upgrades for Volvo 240, 740 and 850/C70/S70/V70 models.
We can provide a range of EBC brake pads as well as genuine Volvo or slotted ATE and Brembo rotors

We do however recommend that if you are replacing discs, that you replace the pads at the same time.
Please specify your model and year when ordering.

DVS Volvo 2xx front brake disc backing plates are ideal for drivers who indulge in club-level competition events where high temperature and heavy brake application are anticipated.
They feature aluminium mesh inserts in the intake ducts, to prevent entry of gravel, etc
Perfect for use with competition brake pads, they dramatically increase brake cooling.

Volvo 240 to Mazda RX7 Turbo II caliper conversion

This conversion will provide increased braking effectiveness, shorter stopping distances and the repeated hard braking, making it an ideal conversion for people who compete in circuit events.
